I just made Princess drink some smurf juice and she LOVES IT!! She takes back all the bad stuff she said earlier!

Aren't those amazing creatures? We are fortunate to live in an area with so many healthy fisheries. I'll bring some of the smoked Dolly (trout) with me to your fest next weekend. It's a great appetizer, main course, or feline attractant, depending on the party...

It sounds as though the pictures took you back a ways... Isn't that a great feeling? I go through the same thing when I view anyone's fishing pics. I aprreciate their experience, and re-live my own. I never get tired of that.

Funny, in retrospect, that silly film may have planted seeds that helped me to abandon superstition later on.

Have you ever reached deep into your closet, looking for one thing or another, only to pull out an article of clothing you haven't worn for years? If your tastes have changed over time, you might regard the item with mild amusement. You might find it shocking that you ever considered wearing it in public... Regardless, it no longer fits. Back to the closet or Goodwill...
That's kind of how I feel about the name Jehovah. I stopped thinking of God by that name a few years before I left the org, preferring "Father."
I must admit I do enjoy messing with various names for the cult, though. Jehovah Witlesses, J-Ho's, J-Dubs, they're all great fun. I harbor no superstitions over my use (or misuse) of the name.

When I lived in the Pacific Northwest we used to fish for smelt. As I recall, it was on the Lewis River. Or should I say "scoop" for smelt?
"Fish", "scoop", or "dip", it's all good. I had my first experience smelt fishing when my son, Rhys, was four. We took turns walking downstream along the bank, pulling the net through the water, bringing up at least four or five 6"-8" smelt with every stroke. It didn't take long to fill our bucket!
I can't seem to get too excited over the thought of a dinner of smelt, although my mom and most local residents eagerly anticipate each annual run. Any fish that miss the dinner table are used as bait for Sturgeon.

as a stay-at-home mom, i can occasionally find a few minutes every few days to play on the computer, but the amount of activity on this forum during us working hours is pretty surprising.
folks from other parts of the world notwithstanding, how are you american members able to post during work hours?.
I'm rarely home during regular business hours... This is an exception for me.
My first call isn't scheduled until noon, so I'll enjoy a few extra cups of coffee, whilst I commiserate with all you hooky players...
